Marc I. Cobane

20+ years industry experience.  Marc graduated from Judson University in Elgin, IL, with an honors degree in both Management & Marketing while participating in two national championship soccer seasons.  Marc began his financial services career in Chicago back in 1998 when he joined Northern Trust Bank.  From 2000 to 2011, Marc worked in the trust and investments division of Fifth Third Bank.  Prior to founding Alpha Financial Partners with his two partners in 2020, he spent almost a decade with UBS Financial Services.   He holds numerous professional designations including Accredited Wealth Management Advisor (AWMA) & Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist (CRPS) through the College of Financial Planning, Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA), and Certified Retirement Services Professional (CRSP) through the Institute of Certified Bankers.   Marc was FINRA series 7 & 66 licensed from 2004 to 2021 and still holds his Kentucky Insurance licenses.  Professionally, Marc has spoken at numerous engagements including the Kentucky Young Lawyers Conference, the Lexington Employee Benefits Council, and the Lexington Medical Society. Civically, Marc serves or has served on numerous boards including the Lexington Employee Benefits Council, Kentucky Association of Health Underwriters, Kentucky Fish & Wildlife Foundation, National Advisory Council for Christian Appalachian Project, and most recently Shriners Corporate Council. Marc is a member of Southland Christian Church and an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hunting, fishing, snow skiing & golfing. Marc and his family live in Lexington, KY.
