Exchange-Traded Funds vs. Mutual Funds

Both exchange-traded funds and mutual funds hold baskets of securities which can increase your diversification. One difference between the two is tax efficiency. Generally, mutual funds are less tax efficient since they are managed and can sometimes generate capital gains.
